IN STEREO
This is Dheisheh Cemetery. It’s on the outskirts of Dheisheh. Only martyrs are buried here. Not normal death, I mean. They don’t die normally; they die under barrages of bullets. Normal death has [its own] cemeteries. Before, there was a cemetery in Artas; they buried our martyrs down there. Now this contains… you’re talking about from 1995 up until this day. Some of them died in the camp. Some were martyred and taken, and delivered years later: ten years, twenty years. Some of them during the [Second] Intifada [uprising], during 2000 to 2002, mostly. Here is the most. Let me tell you: this contains maybe nearly fifty martyrs. Do you want to see how things are going? Go up here so that you can see it better. Be careful not to fall down. This is an empty grave. There are still five up [here]. You can have a look. – Ahmed
