This is our second house. There is a little picture of Moutaz. The story of Moutaz is the following: We are five brothers. We were all tort… I mean, we were all imprisoned and injured, except this brother. He used to stay with our father. He took out a loan and built this house. Life squeezed him a bit, [so] he wanted to go abroad. He managed his life well and went to France. Just to find a good job, better than the one he had. At the same time he went abroad, my elder brother was on a [hunger] strike.

Moutaz always told us that he wanted to come back while he was on strike. But we told him: “Not yet, don’t.” He saw that the situation was not fine, so he decided to return, afraid that my brother would be martyred while he’s not present. He returned on the 40th day. And on the 45th day, let’s say, they broke their strike; they won. During this short period, what happened? When he came here, the Al-Aqsa Intifada was starting, the one of 2005. Where he was one of the first martyrs. He was martyred during the confrontations taking place at the Dome. – Ahmed
