IN STEREO
Well, Christmas is one of the days that my family and I will be waiting for a long time – like for 11 months! From the beginning of December, we’ll be going around Bethlehem, because it will be all decorated. And you know, we’ll be waiting for the first Sunday of the advent, so as to light up the Christmas tree – we’ll be there having fun with all our friends and all the people. From then on, Christmas spirit will be in this month, which is really nice, to have this feeling of happiness. Like, waiting for Jesus Christ to be born again in Bethlehem, to be born again in our houses, to be born again in our hearts. It is really a wonderful feeling. And then we’ll be going out on the day before Christmas, the 24th.
This is when we have most of the celebrations, right? And it is really nice, because I have my brother, who has a shop in Star Street, and that’s where the scouts pass by. So it will be like a station for us, to stay there. He will be having us with lots of wine, lots of biscuits, lots of cheese, for the whole day. And whoever passes by, they will be having something from him. We’ll be seeing most of the people there, celebrating: “Merry Christmas!” [Later,] we will have a Christmas Eve mass. And it is one of my favourites, because it will be in the Milk Grotto or in the Shepherds Fields. Have you been there? You can hear the angel’s songs, like ‘Hallelujah’. God, now it’s giving me chills, you know? – Reema
