Normally, it’s churches that open the scouts. For example, I’m with the Shepherds scouts, which is funded by the Lutheran church. And normally, people who join are from the school funded by the church, or friends of people from the school. Mostly they’re Christians – you can find Muslims, it’s OK, but they’re mostly Christians. They do two Christmases – the scouts go twice. There’s the one for the Orthodox, and the one for the Catholic. Because you know, even in the Nativity Church, there’s the Greek Orthodox section and the Roman Catholic section. [The scouts] all go together. But if there’s problems, they don’t go.

Because you know, they put [certain] scouts first, [certain] scouts last, and there are problems among the scouts. Because each wants to be the better one, and to show that they’re better. Scouts try to support one another, but it doesn’t always happen, because people are competitive. So if there’s a small problem, this scouts decides not to go this year, and then there’s a whole issue, and everybody’s like, “Why?” Either because they don’t support the [patriarch] of this festival, or something like that; or there’s a problem within the scouts. But normally there isn’t problems, so everybody goes together. – Jina
