IN STEREO

How can I tell you? I like discovering. I have permission; I can enter [Jerusalem]. But I decided to enter in my way. So I tore up the permission – that’s enough. I mean, I didn’t know where I was going, how to arrive at Jerusalem. I don’t want to take the way they want. I wanted to discover a way to take, how I want to enter. I was discovering and making a film at the same time. There were obstacles in my way. I ran along the wall to see where its end is. I kept running, running, running until I found myself entering the border [areas]. Now, when I first found it, the road was not paved. At the end of the path there were rocks, too. I carried the bicycle and entered. There was no road. I started walking on the edges with the bicycle. Then I was walking on the road.
I found a kind of a tunnel, forbidden for anyone to enter. It’s like a wall; inside, there’s a tunnel. I went into the tunnel. I kept walking and walking until I found a sewage river. I couldn’t pass it. I didn’t lose hope. I came back and changed my mood, and wanted to continue. I wanted to reach the area I wanted. I continued walking, walking, walking until I found the way I wanted. I kept entering and discovering the areas. I started to see houses; I started to see buildings. Walking, walking, until I found where Jerusalem is. When I saw Jerusalem, seemingly at the same moment that I reached what I wanted, the camera fell down. I arrived. I can show you. – Mohammad
