IN STEREO

It is similar here as well, with the rich families. When those families have a baby, they teach their children to stay with people who have money. They have to talk like that, they have to wear that, they have to eat that – not the food of the poor people or ‘indios’. They say that. They teach that. All the girls ask you, “What are you doing? Where do you live? Do you have a car? Do you have money?” because their families teach them they have to look for that. For example, in my case, I am from the middle class or lower class. If I go to a rich area, they are going to look at me with discrimination.
They’re going to look at what I’m wearing, how my face looks, all those things. Discrimination, or racism. They teach people to be like that. Their families teach them to look at us like we’re strange [and] low-class. I know that. It’s the same [as before], it’s the same. [The Palestinians] have to be strong. First of all, they have to be together, not divided – and still working and fighting. Just fight, fight for their land and don’t be weak with Israel. If [Israel] wants a war, they have to have it. Fight. And don’t say, “You are better” or “We are less.” No: stay, hold your position. Don’t give them the land. – Ronald
